Meet Ashley! (4º ESO)
Vocabulary: Emotions.
We have a special guest today. This is Becky, everyone!
As you can see, Ashley is an astronaut. She is preparing for a very special mission: exploring the moons of Jupiter. When you are in outer space, it is very important that you handle your emotions properly. If any problem arises, you really need to stay calm and find the best way to solve it.
However, she is an emotional person just like any of us. She is very good at identifying emotions and speaking about it. She will tell us about things that awake particular feelings in her. What makes her feel angry? What makes her feel sad? Listen carefully to everything she says!
A. Now tell other people about it! Report Ashley’s sentences using indirect speech: Ashley said that... Write one separate sentence to report each emotion.
B. Give each of Ashley’s emotions a different word with a similar meaning, e. g. happy -> cheerful.
C. What about you? How do all those things make you feel? Discuss with your partners.
